It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Westelle Crosslin Giles (Shelbyville, Tennessee), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wesley Crosslin, Sr. and Rebecca Era Johnson Crosslin; her husband Claude Giles; her great grandchild J. Ethan Giles Sloan; her siblings, Price Crosslin, John Crosslin, Avery "Buster" Crosslin, Blanche Pittman, Shirley McGill Clark and Jane Luers; and her nephew Michael Crosslin.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Giles, Randy Giles (Susan) and Steve Giles (Gail); her grandchildren, Chris Giles (Jeni), Jason Giles (Dina) and Steffie Giles Sloan; and her great grandchildren, Scott Giles, Jonathan Giles (Addison), Luke Giles (Elizabeth), Garrett Giles, Ian Giles, Wes Giles, John "Max" Sloan and Margaret "Maggie" Sloan. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Feldhaus Memorial Chapel (2022 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Highland Rim.
