We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 76, Shirley Ann Owens of Shelbyville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lewis, Sr. and Annie Lou Christmon; and her siblings, Robert "Korn" Christmon, Walter E. Christmon, Clara A. Rodgers and Hattie Holman.
She is survived by: her husband James Owens; her siblings, Dorothy Ruth Wright of Strafford and Charlie "Peanut" Christmon Jr. of Shelbyville, TN.; her sister-in-law Ruth Owens of Flat Creek; and her aunt Mary Williams of Shelbyville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Feldhaus Memorial Chapel (2022 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
