She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "Bill" Alford and Rosie Mai Gregory Smith; her daughter Brandy Newman; her grandchildren, Skyler Lee Harrell and Haley Newman; and her siblings, Rachel Dianne Wikert, Terry Alford, Margie Martin and Perry Lee Alford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Kay Lovvorn of Manchester and Amy Shantelle Merlo of Pinson; her brother Gerry William Alford of Shelbyville; and her close friends, Hubert, Poochie Stanford and Roy Brown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1802 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
