He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles "Charlie" Everett Lappin, Sr. and Wilma Jean Steel Lappin. He is survived by : his sisters, Charlene Guess (Leon), Sharon Marlin (Hilton), Pat Rorex (Tommy), Freda Lappin and Shirley Cornelison; his aunt Olline Summers (Bobby); and his uncle Kenneth Steel (Nina). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
