It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Johnson (Sherwood, Tennessee), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Johnson and Lillie Mae Meeks Johnson; his brothers, Billy and Terry Johnson; and his granddaughter Piper Lynn Dangler.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Johnson of Sherwood; his children, Sherry Fishman of Tullahoma, Lynn Johnson of Sherwood, Kristie Dangler (Neal) of Tullahoma, Lexi-Lynn Dangler and Lani Dangler; his siblings, Kenneth Johnson (Shelia), Marie Robinson of Virginia, Debbie Taylor of Fla and Ruth Simmons (Charlie) of Monteagle; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
