She was predeceased by : her husband David Viens; and her parents, Thomas Woods and Constance Woods of Glastonbury, CT.. She is survived by : her children, Carolyn Wallace (Bett Wallace) of Signal Mountain and Brian Viens (Emily Ripley Viens) of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Elijah Wallace, Lila Ripley and Clay Viens; her siblings, Jeff Woods (Melinda Woods) of Colchester, CT and Diane (Woods); and her siblings-in-law, Tim Viens (Deb Viens) and Claudia Maistrelis (George Maistrelis). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heifer International, one of Elaine's favorite charitable organizations.
