She is survived by: her husband James "Zach" Cowart; her daughters, Harper and Ella Cowart; her brother Daniel Berglund; her parents-in-law, Rachel Cowart and Jim Cowart; her sisters-in-law, Holly Cowart and Courtney Cowart; and her sibling's children, Tori Li and Ralston Ligon.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to World Vision where she sponsored a child, Jebbeh Kamara, in Sierra Leone.
