He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Adam McGowan and Nellie Ruth Wade McGowan; his sons, Ronnie McGowan and Jason McGowan; and his sister Betty Jean Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Scott Bouldin McGowan; his siblings, Dorothy Stembridge, Cynthia Martin and Kenneth McGowan; his daughter-in-law Dana McGowan; his grandchildren, Abbie McGowan (Luke Crawford) and Dakota McGowan (Matthew Muncey); and his great grandchildren, Lynlie Crawford and Sunnie Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
