It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Hendrix of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver "Man" and Ruth Arnold Hendrix; and his siblings, Linda Foster, Brenda Walker and Junior Hendrix.
He is survived by : his wife Anita Hendrix of Smithville; his children, Brittany Moseley (Jason) of Smithville and Caleb Hendrix (Christy) of Smithville; his stepchildren, Anthony Primm (Kelly) of Nashville and Chase Moore (Nick) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Hailey Moseley, Alyssa Hendrix, Kaylee Moseley, Bucksley Haney, Cass Foltz and Blakelyn Hendrix; his siblings, Beecher Hendrix (Phyllis) of Hendersonville, Aubrey Hendrix of Rock Island, Carolyn Whitlock of McMinnville, David Hendrix (Coletta) of McMinnville, Frank Hendrix (Lorene) of Rock Island, Jimmy Hendrix of Smithville, Anthony Hendrix (Anita) of Smithville, Phillip Hendrix (Peggy) of Smithville and Lisa Byford (Lee) of Dowelltown; and the mother of his children Donna Hendrix of Smithville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the Governor's Executive Order 38 and Social Distancing Guidelines, Funeral Services will be 3: PM Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Kelly officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, in memory of Norman.
