She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gentry and Virginia Boner Gentry (William W. Boling Jr.). She is survived by: her son William; and her brothers, Danny Gentry, John Mauss and Eugene Mauss. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations or considerations can be made to City of La Vergne Senior Center, where she met so many friends.
