He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Blackburn Sr. and Bertha Schlogel of Baltimore, MD.; his sister Betty Dewitt; and his daughter Mary Jane. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, James and Keith; his daughters-in-law, Susan and Heather; his daughter Janine (Forrest); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary (Abigail), Nicholas, Alyssa, Emily, David and Kathryn.
