Though James Lewis may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey and Clara Bell Holder Horton; and his children-in-law, Diana Lynn Horton and Clint Lee Judkins, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lois Marie Mantey Horton; and his children, James Edward Horton of Smyrna, TN, Charles Randolf Oxendine, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN, Linda Sue Galvan (Rick) of Smyrna, TN and Cynthia Marie Judkins of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Smyrna (203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN 37167).
