Steve A. Hovies Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steve A. Hovies of Smyrna, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Steve left this world on April 7, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Ritch; and his pet Sturgis. He is survived by: his father Delmer Hovies; his pet Ash; his siblings, Bill Hovies, Dottie West, Debbie Horst, Jerry Hovies and Wendy Hovies; his son Steve Miller (Kristie); his grandchildren, Matt and Katy; his daughter Stacy Hovies Harpole (Jason); his grandchildren, Jason, Jacy, Joelle and Jeffrey (Jackie); his daughter Shelly Rogers (Nathan); his grandchildren, Coraline, Nora and Marigold; his daughter Samantha Gibson (Jesse); and his granddaughter Charlotte. He is also survived by children, grandchildren as well as great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, tribute donations may be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, a non-profit organization close to Steve's heart.
