She was predeceased by: her husband James Claude Cowan; her parents, Frank Denim and Lou Denim; her siblings, Clifford, Junior Denim, Mossie, Christine, Morten Denim and Hester Eldridge; her daughter Patsy Bunch; her grandchildren, Ashley Jarnigan and Crystal Cope; and her great grandchild Lil'Christopher Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Cates and Teresa Cowan (Marty); her great grandchild Summer Williams; her sister Margaret Grissom; and her grandchildren, Jen (Keith), Chris, Lindsey, Whitney, Tina, Justin, Josh, Preston (Angel), Caranda (Shadoe), Cassidy and Haylee39. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McNeil Funeral Home (124 Church St, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
