We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 94, Truett Pierce of Sneedville, Tennessee, born in Mountain City, Tennessee passed away. He was predeceased by : his parents, David and Dora; his siblings, Warren, Teddy and Lenore; his niece Lisa; and also Wanda.
He is survived by : his brother Benny; his daughters, Patricia, Nancy (Donnie Seal) and Janie (LJ Elliott); his grandchildren, Brad Seal (Mandy), Kim Seal, Tara Marion (Kenny), Ross Hopkins (Becky), Amanda Wray (Matt) and Drew Elliott; his great grandchildren, Maylyn, Barrett, Allison, Dane Seal, Brynlee, Paxton Marion, Dawn, Levi Hopkins, Keaton, Hailey and Greeah Wray; and his close friend Bella. He is also survived by the cat; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, friends.
Dr. Pierce dedicated his life to the health of the community and would want nothing more than for that to be protected; due to the current pandemic, Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
