He was predeceased by: his daughter Mariah Penland; his grandparents, Marvin, Burma Richardson, Henry and Elsea Penland; his father Glenn Michael Penland; his brother Rodney Bryan Penland; and his stepfather James Robert Lusk.
He is survived by: his significant other Pam; his mother Linda Lusk; his children, Michael Penland (Holly), Halley Penland, Courtney Penland and Morgan Penland; his brothers, Glenn Michael Penland and Travis Lyn Penland; his granddaughter Madelyn Penland; and his close friend Dennis Waters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
