He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Harris; and his brothers, Cornelius, Edward Lee, Benny, Earl and Don Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Greenup Harris; his children, Jeff Harris of Clarksville, Vicki Hildreth (Doug) of Clarksville and Rhonda Harris of Murray, KY; and his grandchildren, Kelly Stevenson, Erin Szyszkiewicz, Katie Hildreth and Joey Skaggs.
