She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Howell and Versie Stewart Howell; her husband John Douglas Goodwin, Jr.; her siblings, Don Howell, Garry Howell and Joann Howell Price (Ross); and her niece Deborah Wilkerson.

She is survived by : her niece Tonya Maxwell; her children, Randy Wilkerson (Sherry) of Sparta, Gary Goodwin (Darlene) of Sparta and Samantha Haney (Dave) of Sparta; her grandchildren, A. J. Wilkerson (Natasha), Stacia Drouillard (Delano), Brad Goodwin (Leslie), Trent Goodwin (Miranda), Katey Swan (Donald Sparks) and Garrett Swan; her great grandchildren, Matasia, Zander, John Casen, Madison, Jett, Dash, Grey and Hollyn; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Grogan and Glenda Vinson Howell.
