He is survived by: his wife Birdie Mae Brock Gilbert of Spencer, TN; his daughters, Phyllis Gilbert of Spencer, TN, Pat Wallace (Jimmy) of Sparta, TN and Brenda Kendall (Danny) of Celina, TN; his grandson Blake Reed (Lelia) of Rockwood, TN; his great grandchildren, Ava, Riley and Madilyn Reed of Rockwood, TN; his brother Simmons of Spencer, TN; and his son Danny Brock (Cathy) of Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, the family request friends and family donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Monroe Carell Jr.
