She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Porter; and her spouse Thurman Ray Gartin. She is survived by: her parent Nona Porter; her children, Brenda Evangelista (David) of Spring Hill, Alan Gartin (Denise) of Columbia, Debbie Brown (Johnny), Arlene Swaney (Dave), Elizabeth Holdrieth (Jeff Charlier) and Barbara Lynn Tolliver (Jay); and her sister Janet Harris. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
