He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Mays; his son-in-law Barney Mays; and his siblings, Alice Briley, Lucille Ward, Marcella Wooley, Ella Sue Lowrance, Gerald Briley and John Briley.
He is survived by: his sons, James Ronnie (Ruby) and Mike Briley (Evon); his grandchildren, Jonathon Briley of Cape Girardeau, Jason Briley of Springville, Kim Mays of Decaturville and Dawn Allen of Jackson; his great grandchildren, Layla Briley of Springville, Natalie Briley of Springville and Makenzie Briley of Springville; his siblings, Nancy Knolton (James) of McKenzie, David Briley (Nell) and Jack Briley (Pat); and his sister-in-law Beverly Briley of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
