He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Knott; and his parents, Raymond Michael and Stella Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Landry of Martin, TN; and his siblings, Gail Parker, Barbara Powell, Debra Batchelder, Leisha Castleman, Tony Michael and Ricky Michael. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
