He was predeceased by : his father Jim Ernest; and his brothers, James Kenneth Covington, Jimmy Ward Covington and Ronnie Covington. He is survived by : his mother Mary Nell Covington; his son William Covington (Sherry) of Cedar Hill; and his sisters, Pat Aubuchon (Jim) of High Ridge, Vivian Covington of Cedar Hill and Corrine Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with numerous extended family and friends.

Bill was the rock and foundation of his family.
