She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Vaughan and Jewell Moore Vaughan; her husband Ira C. Atkins; and her siblings, B. B. Vaughan and LaRue Cherry.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Atkins, Rossan of Clarksville, TN, Jeff Atkins of Chattanooga, TN and Jan Page (Mike) of Paris, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
