She was predeceased by: her husband William J. "Bill" McSwain, Jr.; her son Jeffrey L. McSwain, Sr.; her granddaughter Kari L. Fowler; her parents, Charles Shores-Howard and Rosa Shores-Howard; and her siblings, Charles Howard, Bobby Howard, Willard Howard, Betty Reed, Dorothy Kitts, Phyllis Cupp and William Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Fowler, Karen Garrison and William John McSwain (Christina); her daughter-in-law Angie McSwain; her grandchildren, Laura Vick (Michael), Lyndsey Rodarte (Steve), Jeffrey L. McSwain, Jr. (April), Meghan Fowler, Erica Mason (Jeff), William J. McSwain IV (Saylor), Morgan McSwain and Mary Claire McSwain; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ava, Taylor, Roman, Levi, Wyatt, Gunner, Brooklyn, Braylon, Ellie and Jay; and her brothers, Carroll Howard (Dana) and Ray Howard (Angie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roseberry Cemetery (2920 Roseberry Rd, Mascot, TN 37806).
