She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Griffin; her parents, Mina Smith and C. C. Maples; her siblings, Jim, Joe, Lynn, Nolan, Charlotte and Emmel; and her stepmother Leona Maples.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Bobby" Joe Griffin Jr., Curtis Henry Griffin (Tammy), David Michael Griffin (Kodi) and Gary Wayne Griffin (Denise); her sister Sandra Goetz; and her sisters-in-law, Nona Maples and Jo Griffin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
