With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lon H. Gilliam of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Gilliam and Opal Gilliam; his siblings, Bobby Lee Gilliam, Gladys Reeser, Linda King and Brenda Strickland; his wife Chiquita Gilliam; his daughters, Tammy Murphy and Patricia Gilliam; and his granddaughter Brittany Gilliam.

He is survived by: his siblings, Alvin Gilliam, Jesse Gilliam and Shirley Hurst; and his children, Cindy Overholt (Howard), Lon H. Gilliam Jr. (Cigi) and Lori Cordy (Eric). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
