He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Cash and Mary Sexton Cash; his son Dwight Fairchild; and his brothers, Martin W. Cash, Sr. and Barry Cash.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Plummer Cash; his children, Michael Cash, Jr. (Rebecca) and Whitney Bagwell (Anthony); his grandchildren, Trey Cash, Tyler Cash and Jasmine Bagwell; his aunt Shirley Sexton Draper; his siblings-in-law, Diana Cash, Cheryl Stiles (Terry) and Fred Plummer (Pam); his sibling's children, Stephanie Puckett, Marty Cash (Greg), Heather Crouch (Clint), Seth Plummer and Sarah Naill (Wes); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordin, Dean, Leeann and Lila.
