He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Davidson and Annie Mauk Davidson; his son Michael Davidson; his siblings, Nellie Young and Jack Davidson; and his grandson Jesse Stanton.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Davidson of Kingsport, Charles Hale Davidson, Jr. of Surgoinsville and Elmer Davidson (Jan) of Roan Mountain; his grandchildren, Charlotte Williams, William Seals, Heather Davidson, Josh Davidson, Andrew Davidson, Walt Wright, Becky Stanton, Tara Wallace and Van Davidson; his great grandchildren, Shannon Williams, Aurora Williams, Danielle Williams, Radlee Seals, Kaydance Schaeffer of Jaden Lane, D. J, A'rayha Wright, Ashlyn Mule' and Hayden Hill; and his brother Russell "Pete" Davidson. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
