With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Desantis Fleischer of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicholas DeSantis and Josephine Piro DeSantis; and her brother Anthony DeSantis. She is survived by : her husband John Fleischer (Dana); her son Tim Fleischer (Megan) of Rogersville; her grandchildren, Brandon Lawrence, Kaidence Fleischer, Austyn Lawrence, Emmalee Oriani, Gianna Fleischer and Cameron Lawrence; her sisters, Annette Vertalino of Minneapolis, MN and Rosemary McNeil (James) of Greeneville, NY; and her close friend Dawn Williams.
