It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nava Jo Caldwell of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Tommy; her parents, Ernest Mauk and Bertha Mauk; and her siblings, Velma Mauk, Ruth Presley, Ola Barton, Edward Mauk (Bud), Shird Mauk and Tilden Mauk.

She is survived by : her daughter Hope Watts (Steven); her granddaughter Jordan Sproles (Korie); her great grandchildren, Loial and Adelyn; her stepchildren, Lisa Crawford (Tim) and Brian Caldwell; her sister Carolyn Castiglioni (Leo); her stepgrandchildren, Heather Viers, Travis Crawford and Brent Caldwell; and her pet Tiger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
