She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cummings Starnes and Tennie Shell Starnes of Dandridge; her son Dale Woods; and her siblings, Norma Williams, Helen Harkleroad, Jay Starnes, Jimmy Hugh Starnes and Eddie Bruce Starnes (Mopsy).
She is survived by: her husband Robert Capozzi (Bob); her daughters, Melanie Woods Kirkpatrick (Robert) of Sweetwater, Donna Woods (Marty Rosenfield) of Highlands, NC and Trish Woods Salmon (Phil) of Canton, NC; her stepson Bobby Capozzi (Kim); her grandsons, Rob and Ryan Kirkpatrick; her stepgrandsons, Tony and Tyler Capozzi; and her granddaughters, Allison Salmon Puryear, Ashley Woods Irwin and Heather Woods Hodges. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
