She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Sweeton and June Sweeton Kennedy; her stepfather Bill Kennedy; her sister Justina Sweeton Kirkland; and her in-laws, Charlie and Thelma Bellamy.
She is survived by: her significant other Gary Bellamy; her daughters, Wendy Watkins (Tracy) of Loudon and Alicia Mincy (Chip) of Sweetwater; her grandchildren, Evan Watkins and Chloe Mincy; her brothers, Bruce Sweeton (Julie) of West Virginia, Garry Sweeton (Colleen) of Murfreesboro and Darryl Sweeton (Kay Rampy) of Jonesborough; and her in-laws, Charles "Buddy" Bellamy of Cleveland, Jane Price of Cleveland, Elvis Bellamy (Dianna Brumlow) of Sweetwater and Kevan Walden of Sweetwater. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Phylis will be cremated and asked that a donation be made to the church of your choice in lieu of flowers.
