He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Quillen and Bertha S. Quillen; and his siblings, Frances Barrett, Mack Quillen (Louise) and Joe R. Quillen.
He is survived by: his wife Rena F. Quillen; his children, Jonathan Quillen of Doraville, GA, Janet Collins (Mike) of New Market, Jackie Presnell of Kingsport and Johannes Quillen (Alysa) of Blountville; his stepchildren, John L. Krell (Mary Ann) of Telford, Melissa Krell of Hixon and Michelle Cravens (Brett) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Chastity Dyke (Teddy), Ashley Stelick (Jim), Zachary Presnell, Adam Presnell, John David Quillen, Grace, Hope, Luke Krell, Josh Smith and Samantha Egan (Cody); his great grandchildren, Chelsea Chapman (Kirby), Hunter Collins, Kyler, Aspyn Presnell, Marlo, Eli and Winnie Presnell; his great great grandchild Cain Chapman; his brother Wayne (Barbara Quillen); and his sister-in-law Ruth Quillen.
Due to the rise in COVID cases, those in attendance are asked to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon's International or to Talbott Baptist Church.
