She was predeceased by: her husband Lay Hart; her parents, Will Barnes and Marier Barnes; and her siblings, Mary Shepherd, Ben Barnes, Larne Barnes and John Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Hart (Phyllis) and Dorothy Nichols (Joseph); her brother Oscar Barnes; her grandchildren, Tracy Robinson (Chris), Ronnie Duvall, Jr. and Kim Hart Plummer; her great grandchildren, Lynnette Duvall, Jessica Robinson and Brandon Duvall; and her great great grandchild Weston Duvall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
