He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Dewey Smith and Myrtie. He is survived by : his siblings, Oscar, Roy, Morris, David, Jim Smith, Eva Parker, Dorothy Maynes, Shirley Shumate, Opal (Jim McCauley) and Betty (Bill Roark); his wife Virginia "Ginny" Smith; his children, Joe Smith and Katie Smith; his grandchildren, Ciera, Paige and A. J.; and his great grandchild Rayceton. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
