She was predeceased by : her husband James D. Estep, Jr.; her parents, Gay Gillespie and Edith Gillespie; her brother Morris Gillespie; and her siblings-in-law, Manley Walling, Dorothy Clawson and Ann Estep.

She is survived by : her children, James D. Estep, III (Yvonne J. Estep), Ellen Estep Merritt (Bob Merritt) and Robert M. Estep (Theresa A. Estep); her grandchildren, James D. Estep, IV (Whitney D. Estep), William J. Estep, Mark R. Estep (Sarah E. Johnson), Dr. Amy E. Hill (Brandon Hill) and Paul M. Estep; her great grandchildren, Izabelva D. Estep, Zayvalee J. Estep and James D. Estep; her sisters, Ann D. Walling and Mary G. Bratton; and her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Gillespie and John F. Clawson. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
