She was predeceased by : her parents, William Schmied and Louise Schmied of Midland, OH; and her great grandchild Andrew Brooks. She is survived by : her close friend Glen Mullins of Tazewell, TN; her children, Geri Marcum (Keith) of Ewing, VA and Jay Partin (Cathy) of Ewing, VA; her grandchildren, Chastity Brooks Lee (James) of Indianapolis, IN, Sarah Brooks (Derek Huling) of Washington, D. C., Joshua Partin (Lita) of Middlesboro, KY and Kaitlin Herrell (Kenny) of Middlesboro, KY; her siblings, Lee Schmied (Edna) and Gerry Bentley of Sacramento, CA; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Bradley, Jaden Horton, Addison Horton, McKenlee Herrell and Jaxon Partin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
