He is survived by : his children, Tracy and Joy Michele Patterson; his siblings, Horace Patterson, Gene, Lon Patterson, Betty June Short, Vernie Carter and L. B. Sweet; his son Terry; his siblings, Geraldine Massengill and Denville Patterson; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Patterson, Kaitlin Bray (Dylan), Jordan Jones (Shayla), Austin, Hunter and Sierra Patterson.
