It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tina Louise Abernathy Ivens of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldean Kirkland and Junior Leon Kirkland; her siblings, Michael Lee, James Leon, Timothy Kirkland and Linda Massingale; and her former husband Gerald Abernathy.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Larry Ivens; her children, Kristi Abernathy, Brad, Lindsey Abernathy and Tyler Abernathy; her siblings, Karen (Ray Brown), Krystal (Rick Rinehart) and Richard Kirkland; her sisters-in-law, Susan Kirkland and Kelly Kirkland; her grandson Dane Abernathy; and her close friend Kim Frank. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
