The passing of Toney Lynn of Tellico Plains, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Lynn and Onley Lynn; his brothers, Clifford Lynn and Wayne Lynn; his grandson Jake Lynn; and his great grandchildren, Ryker and Easton Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Dean (Julie Lynn), Chris Lynn and Cindy; his son-in-law Bunion Davis; his grandchildren, T. J., Jacobi Lynn, Marina (John Rose), Ryan (Brittney Davis), Timber (Josh Mauricio), Tessa (Trainer Merrell), Brylee Lynn, Denisha (Andy Winkler) and Cody (Emma Murphy); his great grandchildren, Alian, Genesis, Jaylee, Quentin, Wyatt, Dixie, Fisher, Ryelyn, Cal, Micah, Logan, MayMay and Harper; and his siblings, Shirley McCarter, Dave (Delores Lynn), Ronnie (Pat Lynn), Ray (Trish Lynn), Darrell Lynn and Scott (Carolyn Lynn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (315 Scott St, Tellico Plains, TN 37385). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Piney Grove Church Cemetery (1600 Reliance Rd, Tellico Plains, TN 37385).
