She was predeceased by : her parents, Viston Irwin and Georgia Brown Irwin; her siblings, Gayle Lindsey, Anne Ferrell and Haney Irwin; and her son-in-law Ronnie Ragsdale.

She is survived by : her children, Donald Schmidt, Emily Ragsdale and Glenda Durham (Charles). She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
