She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Granville Schmidt (Joe Dick) and Geneva Anderson Schmidt; her husband Walter Carl Collister; her siblings, John Thomas "Rip" Schmidt, William Cleo "Runt" Schmidt, Billy Joe "Bill" Schmidt and Sara Rita Schmidt Hankins; and also Ellis Milam (Pete).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Dennis (George) of Stewart, TN, Tina Kay Wiley (John) of Kingston Springs, TN, Michele Madden (Corey) of Dickson, TN and Bridgette Victory (Eric) of Oswego, NY; her siblings, Kenneth Raye Schmidt, Troy Anthony Schmidt (Jackie) and Barbara Lou Bucciarelli (Joey); her grandchildren, Seth Dennis (Shelby), Braxton Milam, Laiken Wiley, Macy Harris (Marty), Adam Beard, Dalton Madden, McClay White and Dylan Madden; and her great grandchildren, McKenley Milam, Finley Miller, Ellie Dennis, Wyatt Harris, Fender Miller and Warren Harris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Schmidt Family Cemetery.
