She was predeceased by : her parents, John Balzer and Evelyn Balzer. She is survived by : her husband James "Jim" Eckert of Thompsons Station, TN; her sons, Jeff Eckert (Kim) of Apison, TN, Jon Eckert (Carolyn) of Woodway, TX and Joel Eckert (Tracy) of Nashville, TN; her siblings, David Balzer of Cambridge, MN and Ruth Tuinstra (Roger) of Bangor, MI; and her grandchildren, Tommy, Brennan, Lily, Oliver Eckert, Ben, Sarah, Grace Eckert, Anna and Isaiah Eckert.
