With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayland Jones of Thorn Hill, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the Jones Family Cemetery.
