He was predeceased by: his parent Steve Sterling; and his brother Fred Sterling. He is survived by: his parent Nancy Wilson Sterling; his spouses, Linda and May; his children, Kimberly McDonald (Glenn) of Nashville, Vickie Ellis (Chris) of Pleasant View, TN, Kathy Utley of Biloxi, MS and Tracy Sterling of Henderson; his stepchildren, Sherri Staggs (Jerrod) of Adamsville and Donald Robbins, Jr. of Milledgeville; and his sisters, Gail Wilson (Cleveland) of Saltillo, Nell Rhodes (Randall) of Grand Prairie, TX and Jane Ellis (George) of Medon. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
