He was predeceased by: his parents, Hembree Brown, Sr. and Dorothy Haynes Brown; his wife Martha Church Brown; his grandchildren, Joshua Darrell Brown, Beth Ann Brown and Samantha Marie Dykes; and his sisters, Lora Gay Brown and Shelby Jean Borrows.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Brown (Sarah), Pam Turner, Russell Brown (Tammy) of Tracy City and Marty Brown (Melissa) of Whitwell; his siblings, Rose Slatton, G. C. Brown (Hazel), Nelson Brown (Patsy), Carol Shrum, Gail Curtis of Tracy City and Jerry Brown of Whitwell; and his brother-in-law Stanley Burrows of Coalmont. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
