He is survived by : his parents, Ruth Childress and Grover Poteet; his wife Betty Cole Poteet of Trenton, TN; his children, Doug Poteet (Priscilla) of Trenton, TN, Melinda Goode (Bobby) of Dresden, TN and Melia Anderson (James) of Mount Juliet, TN; his grandchildren, Garner Mack Goode, III (Rachel) of Nashville, TN, Crockett Poteet Goode (Amy) of Nashville, TN, Jesse Bauer (Sarah) of Fairbury, NE, Elliott Bauer (Miranda) of Trenton, TN and Mitchell Griffin (Josie) of Jackson, TN; his brother Jim Poteet (Marietta) of Monteagle, TN; his sisters-in-law, Helen Alexander of Trenton, TN and Linda Edwards (Jimmy) of Trenton, TN; and his great grandchildren, Harper June Goode, Garner Mack Goode, IV, Ryan Bauer, Katie Bauer, Celeste Griffin and Desmond Griffin.
