He was predeceased by: his parents, Mynatt Hatmaker and Lear Hatmaker (Haddix); his wife Anna Jean Hatmaker; and his siblings, Velda Kay, Freddie, Frank and Jesse.
He is survived by: his children, Chester Hatmaker II (Cathy) of Winchester, Randy Hatmaker (Fhonda) of Manchester, David Hatmaker (Carolyn) of Yalaha and Melissa Hatmaker-Bell (James) of Tullahoma; his grandchildren, Shannon, Charles, Gunner, Hayden, Stephen, Stephanie and Warryn; his close friend Bunny; and his siblings, Mary York (Willis) of Parker City, Carolyn Frye (Dean) of Knoxville, Jody Hatmaker (Freda) of Robbins and Cora White (Karl) of Knoxville. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice Highland Rim, Tullahoma Animal Shelter, or Coffee County Humane Society.
