He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Weaver Ernst of Tullahoma; his children, Patti Hansen of Huntsville, Ala and Clay Ernst of Nashville; his grandchildren, Tia Chamblee (Doug) of Alabama, Trey Hansen (Sherri) of Alabama and Harold Hansen of Alabama; and his sister Emily Branscome (Bill) of Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Marble Plains Cemetery Trust Fund, 525 Mansford Road, Winchester, TN 37398.
